Project Background
The aim of the project "Creating R&D Capacities and Instruments for boosting Higher Education-Economy Cooperation" (funded by the European Commission through the Tempus programme) is to contribute to the creation of R&D capacities and instruments at South-Eastern European universities, in order to support these universities in fulfilling their central role within their national innovation systems and within society, in accordance with European standards. The project is carried out at the University of Montenegro, University of Prishtina, University of Sarajevo and Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje. The main objectives are: evaluation of R&D situation, development and implementation of a comprehensive R&D strategy, creation of R&D Service Centres, implementation of R&D pilot projects, validation of sustainability and quality control.
